Thank you for your question as it certainly brings back old memories and remind ourselves what Catholic Faith means to us.
Some I know says the Liturgy of the Hour, in the morning, during midday(noon), during sunset, and at night before sleep. Some even went the extra mile to pray it at 3am in the morning.
But I think that for those who did not say the angelus at 12 and 6, they have other means of praying to God.
This reminds me of the words from our late Pope John Paul II.
He once said
"It doesn't matter how you pray as long as you do pray".

Hey,i am not catholic but in a question that is now resolved you asked me if Jesus would forgive you if you wandered away from Him in your teenage years? Yes he will always forgive you all you have to do is ask Him and beleive.Look up I John 1:9.God bless you!!
