If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.

Take your vitamins and eat healthy. A healthy lifestyle does wonders for your hair and nails--eat lots of dairy, vegetables, fruit, lean meat...you get the idea. If you're growing it out, make sure you keep up on regular trims (NO, THIS DOES NOT MAKE HAIR GROW FASTER--IT JUST MAKES IT GROW IN NICER!!! ANYTHING YOU DO TO THE ENDS DOES NOT AFFECT THE ROOTS--THAT'S WHERE GROWTH STARTS)--if you don't, you'll have shabby ends. Long hair only looks beautiful when it's super healthy!!!

Wet you hair and put Coconut Oil on it. Leave it on when you go to bed and wash it of in the morning. Your hair will feel very oily for the first day or so, but it really makes your hair grow VERY fast! I tried it and it worked!

Brushing your hair a lot, also helps your hair to grow faster.

Use more natural shampoos: too many chemicals block the pores. These may cost a little more; but shampoos with vitamins and aminos feed the hair what it needs--"cause remember; IT IS ALIVE !.......Increase stimulation to the scalp by combing all the way to the scalp or tipping your head upside down several times daily for 5 minutes.......Emu oil, hair-growth-helper, and follicle stimulator spray are helpful items that can be gotten at your local beauty supply store.....Trim every two months.....

Rite im studing to be a hairdresser...and first of all DONT start washing your hair everyday as it will wash off all ur natural oils before they have any chance to do any good, which will result in dry hair!! And YES getting a trim every 6 weeks DOES help, believe it or not, split end stunt growth in your hair, so although hair grows from the root, split ends dont do your hair any good. also if you use straightening irons alot be sure to use some kind of heat protection, i use straightening addict shampoo and conditioner which is great for my hair and highly protects it when stlying. there is no quick fix to get long hair i am afaid, but in the mean time look after it and it will not only grow but your hair will be beautiful. good luck

brush your hair 100 strokes a day, it releases oils that help it grow, like a fertilizer lol and wash ur hair every single night!!!(most ppl only wash thier hair every other day cuz the cost of shampoo) and TRIM your hair at least monthly also releases oils and gives hair that might have been split a chance to grow in straight hope that helps, it helps me!
