1. Push their religion so hard onto others? I know that they have been taught that it is their duty to tell people about God/Jesus etc. but, if someone looks at them and says, I'm not Christian, why can't they just say have a wonderful day and go on about their business instead of trying to keep pushing their religion so hard saying that it is the only way to true salvation?

Not all Christians are like that. The hard thing is that a lot of people think that all Christians will push their beliefs onto someone, when really, there are a lot of Christians who won't do that. So many people will judge Christians or won't talk to them because they think they will be like that. But I am a Christian and I think that the best way to minister is not to pressure people or force my beliefs onto them, but to let people know what I believe and sometimes even talk to them about it without forcing it onto them. I also think a good approach is to live a Christian life and when people ask me what's different about my life, I can tell them that I am a Christian.

My mother in law is Christian and has been trying to push it down my throught for years, and to make it worse for her I and my relatives are primarily of earth based religions, she thinks I need saving big time. I find that most of the forceful ones are truly messed up and codependent the more people they "save" the more points in to heaven. I have a few Christian friends and this is not a problem, but keep out the phyco ones they are a pain in the a**

I think that if these 'christians' would watch their behaviour. Were pure of heart and generous souls, peaceful souls them maybe others might listen to them but most of them are so angry......it's like they need validation from others, having to convince them that what they believe is right because in the back of their minds they know there is a good possibility they are wrong and they just want more people on their side to make them feel better.

Sounds like you've had a knock on the door from a Mormon. Jesus never taught us to badger anyone about religion. He preached that if people don't want to hear it, to smack the dust off your sandles and walk away.

Because it IS the only way to salvation my friend. We do it because we care for you.

The ONLY reason I am on this site is to make known the Truth of Jesus Christ. Because He has given me love for you and others who do not know Him.

Yes, I agree with you. In my country here, many of them really "hard sell" Christianality. Maybe they believe that those who are not Christians will definitely go to hell. They think they are saviours for you and me. That's why, I think.

If you saw someone about to jump off a cliff, and you tried to convince them not to do it, would you stop after they told you to leave them alone?
