The Queen is Australia's monarchy as well as ours. They are also in the Commonwealth like us. We have a representor of the queen in Australia-I think he is called the Governer-General, who keeps the queen informed of any situations in Australia the Queen might have to step in to resolve constitutional matters-hardly ever happens-as the Australian have their own Parliament and do pretty much as they please-though as long as the Queen is also their Queen they can't become a republic as some of them want to.

hendrixwatchtower is the closest right answer. The UK and Australia are seperate countries. They are both in the Commonwealth - a confederate of countries linked to Britain. The Queen is head of state of both Australia and the UK. Otherwise, the UK has no direct role in Australian constitutional affairs.

Here in australia the queen is the monarch, the uk is in service to our monarch. It is not superior in any way. Our foreign policy is dictated by our parliment and not by the queen or any british member.
Another referendum will occur in the next 10 years that will almost definately see australia turn into a republic, about the same time we begin another un-interrupted cricket reighn.
We pour beers in english pubs because gave up trying to teach you how to pour beers, and came over to do it ourselves, it is now a united nations sanctioned aid mission. Also to inform you that Fosters is consumed 100% out of Aus.

None.
The Queen is not the UK when considered in this way.
She has her own private portfolio.
The Commonwealth is neither the UK or Australia but an organisational body, to which both countries have responsibilities as long as they remain members.
Australia is independent.

As part of the commonwealth it comes under the protectorship of the UK. Therefore if any country tried to invade Oz then we would step in and protect it. Same with Canada.
