My mum set up my sister with a guy from her work, she had good intentions but in 3 months they were married and he turned out to be a absolute loser. he cheats every chance he gets and he has cracked onto family members. he also would very much like to leave her. I dont know about other situations but i would never go out with a guy my mum had chosen... good luck!!!

My mother didn't, it was my Catholic father! He was "Old" Catholic, Vatican one, and shortly after my birth arranged for me to marry the middle son of his dearest friend, (Also "Old" Catholic) The "boy" chosen for me was, IS, 6 years older and we didn't even meet until I was 10. We became instant friends but it never went any further, we both grew up and married other people, (in the same year too LOL) His marriage and mine are still going strong as is our long time friendship. (The "boy" and I are both Catholic too, but "New" Catholic, Vatican two and we each wed outside of our faith.)

No, but I bet she will in a few years. She wants me to find a nice Jewish boy to marry and have kids with. I want to find . . . nobody.
