Depending on powder properties there are many ways of mixing powders. If your duty is difficult (for example due to agglomeration) it may be that you have the optimal method.

Use a rotating drum to mix powders. If you intend to add water to the mix you can throw in the ingredients one at a time in the water mixer without premixing the powders.
