They will have to show you from their personal version of the bible which is questionable to start with.
I doubt they could find anything in the King James Version because they never look at it. They say it has 2,000 mistakes but they won't tell you who "correctly" translated their version.

Every Bible version says that the Word was a Mighty god, but never an Almighty God, which creates and provides power to mighty gods. In fact, that scripture is one of the favorite ones used by those who follow the trinity belief, but they don't stop and think about what they are saying contradicts the trinity. JWs don't go beyond what the Bible teaches, that Jesus was the Son of God. They don't place themselves as equals or presuming that they know that God didn't really mean what he said, and that it must mean more. Also, no Bible refers to Christ as LORD, but only as Lord, which is spelled completely different.

The only clear scripture defining the Trinity was added in the 15th century and acknowledged by all learned believers in the trinity that it is not to be used as proof.

As for the first chapter, go to any Bible or religious book store and buy an Interlinear Translation of the New Testament. Check how many ways John spelled the word god. He never used the same spelling for the word god in referring to the Word or Christ that he used in referring to God Almighty. He does use the same spelling for the word god, when referencing the Word, Satan, or men as god. In doing so, is he demeaning the deity of the Word and Christ, or is he showing that they are not equal to Almighty God?

Sorry, couldn't think of anything from a JW Bible to refer you to.

I'm sorry, are you saying that the first chapter of John disproves the trinity? or are you saying that it does proves the trinity?

I personally love to use John 1:1-18 to disprove the trinity.

In all my years of studying the bible and talking to trinitarians, the evidence is so overwhelming against that interpretation.

To prove the trinity you have to mistranslate the bible. 1John 5:8 is an example.

By the way I still use the KJV and the NIV, NASB, and several others.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.

(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation

(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.

(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God

(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God

(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth

(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak

(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am

(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him

(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father

(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God

(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.

(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

God was in the Old Testament, Jesus arrives in the new. Jesus would not pray to himself, but to God. He tells his deciples how to pray to God, and what to say. There were temples built for worship of God while Jesus lived in the Holy Land. On the cross, Jesus asks God why he was forsaken by Him. Etc.

YES, that's correct Jesus (peace be upon him PBUH) is the prophet of GOD.
Man or science and technology in their own limitations can’t answer this things/believes/struggle. Only thing left for the mankind is to find out from the ONLY ONE CREATOR that created everything that exists.
The thing is people don’t know what to follow. They follow something that haven’t said by prophets including Jesus (peace be upon him PBUH) himself. The solution to this is to do a research and find out the AUTHENCITY of the source or the books. It is not at all difficult in today’s world.
In Short: The ONLY PURE ORIGINAL WORD OF GOD is left on the phase of the planet is the HOLY QURAN that came with the prophet 1400 years ago without any SINGLE LETTER corrupted, that Guides, Faith with Proof, shows way of life, tells in details the mission of prophets including Jesus (peace be upon him PBUH), gives answers to all questions, solutions and tells much in details of what will be going to happen (past, present and future) and the purpose of existence, etc. The WORD OF GOD came with the SAME MESSAGE through prophets (from first prophet Adam to last prophet Mohammad (PBU them all) including Jesus (PBUH) and only person to interpret is the prophet of GOD at that time. Unlike HOLY QURAN all the other Books are corrupted and are not in the PURE ORIGINAL WORD OF GOD that’s is due to the handy work of Satan/Jinn/Devil and also human nature to follow their own desires rather than following the simple message of all the prophets that is to believe in ONLY ONE GOD in order to achieve the PURPOSE OF LIFE. In Muslim world there are many books available today in different languages of the ORIGINAL INTERPRETATION of the HOLY QURAN by the prophet of GOD about 1400 years ago that is the only interpretation that has to be follow to be the true follower of the prophet as commanded by GOD and the ONLY WAY to SUCCESS that is both in this WORLD and ETERNAL PARADISE. Regards,
