Wow
First of all there are 4 African American Masons in my blue lodge and one in York Rite of course this is above the Mason Dixon line racism in the lodges do happen but not to the extent it used to! But realistically isn't that true of any part of our society.
I have no problem with other than whites being in FAM I top lined two African Americans. But they are mutually recognized!

PS Don't address something you guys know nothing about!

I am not surprised at all by the blatant segregation issue at all. It is kind of like the last vestiges of the good old boys trying to keep their stuff separate. I see every day that black people are getting black only this and black only that, so I see no reason why their cannot be a white only thing. As long as neither are getting together for hatefilled reasons, but instead to preserve and support their heritage why should we care. I am white and I have a black stepmom who is one of the nicest people on earth but even she agrees that it is not fair for black people to have black only clubs if whites or Native Americans, or Mexican Americans or whatever cannot be held up to the same standards.

The American version of masonry has had a long historical racist point of view. Some lodges accept people of different colors, but they never, to my knowledge, accept blacks.
