if what the first answer doesn't work u can always try this sign ^

10^2 mean 10 squared obviously, i don't know if this will work on excel, but i hope it does for u

It is definitely this ^ symbol . I use it all the time, so 4^3 is 4 cubed = 64.

you do =3^4 if you want 3 to the power of 4.

2 to the power of 5 would be: =2^5

If you want to reference another cell it would be =C12^x

Set the cell format as number -> scientific
