Money and door knobs.. They are the dirtiest things around. Any doctor will tell you this. I always use a paper towel when I am not home to open doors with since they are so gross.. Money has to be the # 1 germ maker in the world, everyone has some and handles it daily...

Your own two hands are the source of most of the germs you come in contact with. From whatever your hands touch to your hands, from hands to face and mouth. Although toilets have a bad reputation, most people don't catch things from the toilet because we do expect it to be germ filled.
Second most germy place is the kitchen. Bacteria from food, improperly sanitized preparation areas like the cutting boards, knives, etc. We think of the kitchen as a clean room, but it's really usually more germy than the bathroom. Because we think the bathroom is germy, we use strong disinfectants there and normally wear gloves when we have to clean the toilet. Plus the bathroom is involved in a lot of soap and water, which tend to keep the bacterial counts down. But the kitchen, people think is clean and don't get as cautious as they should. They use a sponge for dishes, wring it out and leave it set. The germs love the wet place to live, and everytime you wipe off the counter with it, you swish the bacteria across as well. There's also the kitchen garbage and garbage can outside. All the rotten stuff, refuse and leftovers attract flies and other wonderful creatures. It's a bacteria haven. Not that you would dig in the garbage, but think- how often do you throw something in the trash and then go on to pick something else up? And do you wash your hands in between? You empty the trash, but how often does the can get disinfected?
These are just a few of the main places people pick up bacteria. It's not the places you would think, because we don't tend to mess around much with stuff that looks dirty or smells bad. It's the places and things we think look clean that are the most dangerous.

I'd say Paper Bills (i.e. Dollars, Pounds, Yen...etc.). Why? Because different people hold it and since it can't be washed, the germs stayed on it forever... c",)
