Considered that, then found the truth.
Oh, and my mother hates my religion, and so do my sisters.

The problem that many of you have is that you donot know the difference between religion and christianity.Religion are those who are still searching whereas christianity are those who have found the Lord already. The fact of getting confused of where to go is for those who donot really have the fear of God in them. They want to go to church just like the others and not because they have found the Lord and they want to go where they will get rooted in Him.The religions are outside there to feed their stomack and not with the primary aim of winning souls for the Lord. If there is the fear of God in the heart one will not call a church asports team. And if it is a sport team a good player cannot lack a team.
God bless you.

No, neither one of my parents went to church when I was growing up so I choose the religion that I am, but I have to say that both my parents are saved now 25 or 30 later.

You know Phoenix, I was raised United Methodist, I have attended Baptist churches and found them to be for the most part too judgemental. I have over the course of 30 years tried many different denominations. At 48 I have come back to the UMC becasue I chose to do so. I am comfortable in my home church. My parents ahd little to do with the decision.

My parents did choose for me their religion, but now that I am an adult, I don't practice the same way....I am totally non-denomination and strictly a believer in Christ.

I suppose for a great majority of people that is how it goes. I myself was born into a house of 1 atheist parent and 1 agnostic parent. When I chose my faith, I had to do so by trial and error. And it seems like there are lots of errors.

I inherited my religion too. After 17 years, I also then realized that religion is not for me.

But you grow up and learn and can reconsider. Convert, quit, become whatever your mind settles on. You are free.
