Chocolates. Flowers die so quickly, and often the man doesn't know what type I like to start with, not that I don't appreciate the gesture. Still, I would take chocolate over flowers, and I enjoy virtually all types and they can last more than a couple days.

I prefer flowers because I usually have chocolates at home! If you go for chocolates then try to get ones that you know she likes rather than a strange mixture of them! I am sure they will love anything you get for them!

At this point, since I am trying to cut down on my sweets, I would prefer the flowers especially if they're my favorite.

However, if you're going to give it to someone who has captured your interest, I would suggest that you give both. Make sure though that the ones you're going to give her is the flower and the kind of chocolate that she is particularly fond of. Going that extra mile of finding out what she likes will definitely give you an edge and something that will linger on her mind :)

Both — when I buy them for myself. But you can't eat flowers, so I guess I'd rather have chocolate.

I like flowers,love the way they make a room look bright and the smell that they but off, but some people don't like the thought of spending the money for them because they just die in a few days.But at least they can't and don't help in weight gain.

Chocolates make you fat, flowers die after a few days, why not something that will last like a picture, poem, or jewelry?
