hi has any body been to butlins minehead lately ? we are thinking of going and i just wondered if any one has got any of their own experiences to share. we haven't been for ages so any info would be great.
we are looking at half board in a silver apartment with 2 adults and an 11 year old and a 13 year old.

Yes I've been quite a few times. Last time I went was last year to Butlins Minehead. Make sure you pick a good week that carries entertainment though as my sister went once and nothng was on even though it was really cheap.
There is a few rides there like Carousel, these things that go in the air and multiple places to eat, drink and have fun.
PS: Yes take plenty of money :D

We went in the summer holidays and had a awesome time the kids were looked after as well. we had the same as you are looking at and it was very nice. So go to butlins and have a lovely time..... P half board means you only have to worry about dinner each day.

My brother was there last week and he said it was cr@p, the nightclub had just 5 people in there and 4 of them were mentals. I've done security there in the past and it's definitely not my cup of tea, better off going to Bournemouth or Torquay.

I went last year its great when you have a family with kids your age coz got lots to do for you and them!!

yeah its good but take plenty of spending money for food although there is the old train carridge cafe near the beach front which is value for money. have fun

you'll have a gr8 time we went there earlier this year there's loads to do,the swimming pool and flumes are brilliant and the shows at night as well
