The customs officers don't work for the airlines but for the customs authorities. Are you sure this is what you want to do? A customs officers job today is not a rewarding or glamourous job and they don't get paid well. If you are sure you want this, check with you local airport for job listings.

Customs officers are a governmental service, similar to the police, you train as a officer and then get a posting it could be an airport but it could be anywhere really. You then apply for an airport posting

Customs officers are employees of the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection.

You normally need A-Levels, and you would work for Customs and Excise (Inland Revenue). As previously answered, it is a Govermental Department, so check the Home Office...

Check the Government vacancies advertised on their www. sites & I am sure you will find something suitable with the qualifications needed for the job in question.

I think you'd be employed by the Airport so you'll have to contact them !!!
