Absolutely.
Methane is created by any vegetable or animal matter that is decomposing. And that is exactly what happens inside the bowels. Your body has to break down the food you eat or you can't absorb the nutrients.

Flatulence is the presence of gas under some degree of pressure, in a confined space. The term is normally used of the presence of gas in the digestive tract of mammals. However, a balloon is flatulent as is a fizzy drink until the gas is released by opening the bottle containing it.[1] Though confused by the word's use as a euphemism for 'fart', flatulence is distinct from flatus, which is the release of such confined gas.[1] The distinction becomes very important in cases of bloat. In the animal digestive tract, the gas is produced by symbiotic bacteria and yeasts.

Well depends on the intake of your diet to determine the output of the gases. The gas that you are talking about being flammable is Methane. Yes it is very flammable, things like steak, eggs, and other types of food with high fiber and fats produce the most potent of these. My friend actually burned his bottom lighting them on fire! 2 months having a nurse wipe his bottom for one flame. Doesn't sound like a fair trade to me at all!

Didn't you ever when you were a kid light a fart. Methane is a flammable non-odorous component of the gas expelled.
