truman knows his brother is a liar and so knows that his brother is going to lie.
Therefore true man will point to the wrong way (which is what the brother will say). The brother will point out to the wrong way as well as he is a liar. Essentially both men will point to the same direction (the wrong way) because trueman speaks for the liar and the liar speaks for himself.
So, obviously you will go in the other direction to which they pointed out...
am i right? well yes, of course i am!
