The world relies on it to stay alive and it is very valuable in marketing so yes in a way. Besides reproduction it is not as important as people make it out to be.

The earth or the world revolve around the sun. Sun is hot and so the sex is. So probably the world revolve around the sex.

in a way, yes. every living creature must have sex. without sex, there would be no reproduction. no reproduction means the end of life. so i guess the world does revolve around it.
