The angels were actually the spirit children of our Heavenly Father. Lucifer led away one-third of these. He became Satan and they were cast out of Heaven and are the evil spirits who do not have bodies here upon the earth who attempt to tempt us and may sometimes enter into our bodies. Drugs, alcohol, etc. allow them a portal of entry. Fasting, prayer, sincere repentance, scripture study, and church attendance , etc. helps cast them out and may help keep them from having influence over us in the first place.

God created them but that has alot to do with why we are here and why we are suppose to work on spiritual development.This is God's way of sorting out the satans before they get in Heaven.He doesn't want to keep casting out angels that He has gotten to love deeply.You know how hard it is for you when you get deeply involved in a relationship and then it dissolves.It isn't a very pleasant experience.Take Care and May God Bless You.

Ancient of Days, Jehovah, God the Father created them through Jesus Christ. Apparently even angels have the ability to choose. However, perhaps they only had one chance to choose.

God did and just us they had freedom of choice. God wants us to choose to love him with our own free will otherwise we would be wired like robots. God takes pleasure in us taking pleasure in Him and His blessings
