How does one feel when he does not believe he is going to have an ever lasting life. Does he just think it is all over? Doesn't that make you feel depressed, that you have no special connection to your Creator, and take the whole thing for granted? You come from nothing and go to nothing, how sad??? Is that what you really want to feel? Non-believers and believers, please comment. Please leave the insults and only intelligent answers, it is ok, this is a forum with different thoughts, no one is trying to make or force anyone to think or do anything . . .

Yes, I do feel a warmth of the presence of the Holy Ghost which is a GREAT feeling. God bless you for your question. When we love God and our fellowman it makes us feel special, happy, content, and at peace. Moving toward a worthy goal is satisfying. Moving toward God is the ultimate satisfaction. Becoming like him is our purpose. His work and His glory is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. We are commanded to "Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect." He loves us and wants us to succeed.

Knowing that Jesus and GOD love me, makes all the difference in my life. I wakeup knowing it's gonna be a great day, assured that the love from my savior is enough to get me through whatever that day brings. Now don't get me wrong, I have my ups and downs just like anyone else, but whenever I start to feel sad, down, irritable, angry, basically anything not Christ like, I turn to God and ask him to change me and take it away. I'd rather live as a beggar with God in my life than have all the riches in the world and not be saved.
I feel such Joy and Peace and Love in my spirit because of the grace of GOD. I know the devils job is to rile me up, and to turn my attention away from God, and he often suceeds and I start to panic and worry and stress about all the whatifs and all my imperfection, and I feel the cloak of fear and self-pity envelope me and then I call on my GOD, choking back tears and sobs I pour out my heart to him and his love embraces me, his grace touches me and soothes me as he recalls to my remembrance he is always with me and he shall never leave me.
And then my soul rejoices because I know he's got the whole world in his hand even me. And Jesus dying promise on the cross was to see to my complete and utter salvation so I could spend an eternity with him and there is nothing I could ever do to make him stop loving me. It's wonderful... to all those who don't know the love of Christ, I pray for you because God is good and merciful and if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is the son of God you shall be saved.
May God Bless Your Heart
love,
Monique

God's love is like a powerful energy force, stronger than the toughest titanium. A force so strong that nothing can stand against it. The true light of the Creator is far beyond my feeble comprehension.

Thankfully God provides a protective buffer effect for us, called the physical universe ;)

I see your point...that's why I still believe in Santa Clause and the Easter bunny too.

Life is what you make of it...it's a short ride, so have a blast. No point believing in false realities. I'd rather know the truth. So I look at facts and evidence.

I thankfully realize that God loves me and all the human race, and I try to catch up with them in practicing this selfless love.

I don't pay attention to feelings cause they change up a lot. But I am very grateful that the Creator loves us very very much. In fact He loves us so much that He went through Calvary to demonstrate His love for us and to reconcile us to Him forever.
I Cr 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!!

Yeah i do. Its great knowing that someone loved me and my family so much that he would die for us. I would die anyday for my kids but for a complete stranger - i'm not so sure so to know that God sent his son is an awesome thought to comprehend. If we had no afterlife we would be aiming this earth striving at nothing
