Presumably you mean sponsoring your tourist visa application? I wouldn't sponsor a complete stranger but if I knew the person I was sponsoring, I would say they were on holiday to visit me.

I cannot stand people who say they are raising money say for Spina Bifida but then say Im going to climb Mt Kilamanjaro for it, can you sponser my climb?
Heres an idea, how bout I DONT pay for your free trip and you save the extra money you would have spent on helping people with Spina Bifida?
