Your question doesn't say that the lemons have to be divided equally, so one solution would be to give 4 people 1/2 a lemon each and the fifth person 2 lemons. That will leave you with 1 lemon in the basket.
A better solution, would be to give the first four people 1 lemon each. That will leave one lemon in the basket. Give the basket containing the lemon to the fifth person (or keep it yourself if you are the fifth person). Then each person will have one lemon and the fifth lemon will still be in the basket.

5-1 = 4
means u need to divide 4 lemons among 5 people. so each person gets 4/5 of a lemon!
i have the same problem of dividing neoprints. BUT we can't cut the neoprint right? AWWWW headache!! T_T"

Cut each lemon into 6 pieces. Pass them out to the 5 people, giving each person 5 pieces (one piece of each lemon). This leaves 5 pieces (one piece of each lemon) left in the basket.
