i got a Brazilian for my first ever wax and it was horrible, sooo painful. if i was you id just get the underneath and sides waxed for now as these places don't hurt as much(well they didn't for me)
I'm sure your husband will be very happy with it. and later on when you get used to the waxing you can try a Brazilian. make sure you moisturize there everyday with a tee tree based moisturizer as this will keep it supple so you wont get any nasty ingrowing hairs and the tee tree is a healing antiseptic.
good luck and congrats about your husband.

I have a regular wax during the summer for years.

The past 2 years I have tried Brazilian (getting it all taken off, which includes your butt crack - excuse the bluntness). It hurts like nothing I have ever experienced before. It lasts about 4 weeks before the stubble comes in. If you keep up with it (i.e., get waxed again with stubble v. letting it all grow back in), the pain is a little less after the first one. I don't but I've heard some people bleed and that is normal.

I have taken to leaving a "landing strip" because the most hurtful part is the middle section in the lower region, VERY sensitive. I have a pretty big tolerance for pain but enough is enough.

I've heard on the boards and in different readings that younger men prefer no hair (I'm 34 so I'm referring to men in their 20s). I've also seen many people refer to the no hair phenomenon as another facet of men's pornographic obsession with women of the "barely legal" set. That could be true.

My old man seems perfectly happy with my landing strip as well as my normal appearance and hasn't complained. I was always well groomed down there.

Have a glass or 2 of wine before you go. It helps me.

BTW-How exciting for you that your hubby is coming home if only for 2 weeks! God Bless!

Ok so to answer your question the results of either is great and ya don't have to worry about a shave or another wax from anywhere between 3-5 weeks.Thats the good news...
The bad news it hurts like heck so I hope you have a high pain tolerance...If not I suggest perhaps trying Veet you can buy it at your local WalMart. It works pretty okay and they have it for sensitive skin....
But if your pain tolerance is good when they count to 3 start taking a really deep breath and get a good grip on any damn thing nearest you.The object of this pain is to not make a peep....
The good news is if you can do it the first time each time you have it done the less it hurts...
So hun looks like you got some weighing to do hehehe is he worth the possible pain if ya don't have the high tolerance?Or should ya take the easy way with Veet and not worry about peeping?
Either way Congrats on his visit home enjoy it fully and blessed be...

If you're getting it done for the first time it will hurt, because the skin in the public area is very sensitive. The waxing will last from 3 - 4 weeks. If you get it waxed on a regular basis though it won't be as painful as the first time.

bikini wax is less painful than brazilian wax. the in case of bazillian wax everything is waxed even the bikin area so u can imagine the pain. u can get a bikini wax and shave the private area.

the first time i did it my self because i was embarrassed and didn't have the money. and it was WORTH IT! it looks heaps better than shaving you don't get any nicks and cuts. if you get scared about the pain just think how much your husband will love it. i suggest having a little trim before you go so your not embarrassed by too much hair and have a soak in the bath. this will relax you, clean (down their) and soften the follicles so it doesn't hurt as much. don't chicken out it's worth it!

Painful and addictive. The hair is gone for up to 4 weeks and there is no stubble. It cuts down on sweat and odor and you feel very clean. You also become close to your Esthetician, obviously.

i would not bother, it is the worse pain i have ever felt in my life!!!

I am currently having Laser treatment on my bikini area which gets rid of the hair forever! get that done, it is quite expensive but worth every penny.
