If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.

I had the same problem a few months ago, try using vitamins, emu oil, some shampoo's can unclog scalp so hair folicles can easily grow, make sure to comb hair, cool dry, i heard somewhere that if you put your head upside down once a day the blood rushes creating circulation in your head causing cells to push forward and make your hair grow, otherwise hair grows about 1/2 an inch to one inch a month, hope this helps, sorry about your hair :(

You need to buy an hair oil that contains vitamins and natural herbs, and apply it to your scalp and message it in. By messaging your scalp helps the blood circulate which stimulates the hair follicles which promotes hair growth. Must do this at least two times a week, and do not apply to much hair dressing to your hair, or it will become extra greasy.

Dont think there's any miracle cure, sorry. I have the opposite problem though - my hair grows very fast, to the point that it's costing me a fortune to keep it cut in any kind of style. My hairdresser says I obviously have a very healthy lifestyle. I wouldnt go that far, but I do eat a balanced diet with a variety of meats, fish and fresh vegetables.
Gently massaging your scalp is supposed to help stimulate hair growth - not sure if it's really true though. Hang in there, it will grow back soon and I'm sure its lovely - you're just not used to it, that's all!
