We tried NOT to name him at first because we found him and thought his owner would claim him! But now we need a name!

Always go with the kids answer... I wanted to call my pup freckles, because it really looked like he had freckles on his chest, and to get away frm the "pit bull tough image" but My 5-yr-old daughter upon seeing him announced "thats T-Bone!" I assume after the side kick on "Clifford, the Big Red Dog"...

I have a list of names that I have been making throughout the years because I love dogs, horses, and pigs, and I want to have names available so that we will not go for months without a name. I am not giving you a hard time, I just know that some of us care what we name an animal, so we pain ourselves over it.

Anyway, here's a few suggestions from my list.

Calypso
Gypsy
Echo
Rhythm
Carmel
Ruger
Shazam (I have already used this and people just loved it)

I hope these help. Good luck!
He's a real cutie!!!

Oh, some of my previous pets;

Rigatoni (long story behind this one)
Chance
Hobo
Benji (my brother's idea)
Snippy
Shiloh
Shadow
Bear
Sasha
I also had a poodle when I was really little and he was called Dog. Eventually he grew too big for our small house so we gave him to my Grandma and they called him Jim Dog because only my Uncle Jim had curly hair out of all 16 of my aunts and uncles!

I've got 2 little boys called Darcey and Snoopy. Parents 2 little boys are called Duke and Sammie (Duke weights 2.5 kg). Our animals are named with names starting with S or D. It's sort of a tradition as past animals named with S or D have been great pets.

How could you get spots confused with scabs????? Dirt may be but not scabs!

If it were me I'd name him mud...LOL it looks like he stuck his head in a big mud puddle...Go to the website www.doggynames.com. That is where I get all of my names for my pets and I've had a lot of them so the site definately comes in handy...I do like the name Bandit though...The brown over the eyes looks like a mask...Look through the site though and see what you can find...Lots of names in it that I would have never thought of.

I am so glad that this little guy found a forever home!!
He is a doll...
I like Hobo...Tramp, Gypsy, Handsome, or Blessing..

(I do favor Bandit, as our Bandit was our family's favorite dog)

I think he is a Papillon mix..so a French name would fit..

What the hells wrong with his legs?!? eww. Call him scabby.

My bad, my bad. I think names should fit the animals personality but also it's appearance. Bandit would be perfect if he were mischievous. Milo is good too.
