No, if there was a God and Heaven and Hell and all that other stuff it would still seem really stupid to me. I definitely wouldn't understand it.

I would also like to get an explanation from God as to why an omnipotent/omniscient being wanted my worship in the first place! Again, just dumb.

Merely realizing that my beliefs are wrong AFTER I died would be a surprise. I believe that there is nothing after death so I guess I wouldn't feel ripped off. More surprised that was actually something there than anything.

That's the great "What If". Let's say you pick a religion...any religion and follow it to the "T", but after you die and get to the pearly gates you find out that the guy you consider a nut job preaching you have to eat 5 red MM's a day to get to heaven was right. There are thousands of religions to pick from. I chose not to pick a religion and just keep my religion on a personal basis and hope for the best.

That is impossible since the Bible says that we are no longer conscious when we die and therefore, just non existent! The Bible is clear on this when it says:"As for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all."(Ecclesiastes9:5) But yes many followers of the major or mainstream religion are being riped off, because they do not follow the truth! Not following the truth they are being ripped off by their counterfeit god who took on what he has no right to! And just like Adam
and Eve, unbeknown to them, they are listening to Satan and his doctrines, rather than the true God.

I don't know if i would feel ripped off, but If i could feel anything it would probably be foolish. However, in the greater scheme of things what could you really do about it anyway? Maybe you would be rewarded for having faith.

To find satisfactory answers to spiritual questions, we have to go to the book on spirituality, the Bible.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

Anything else is just an opinion.

No, I would say it's been a nice, clean and free life. I wouldn't trade if for anything different and I wouldn't feel ripped off either.

I don't think religion matters, I think attitude matters. I also feel that everyone but the truly evil go to heaven and get the chance to be reincarnated if they choose.
