I put in a DVD for my grandma to watch, and supposedly the DVD was stuck on a scene and kept repeating ( I wasn't at home when this happend), but when I got home my DVD player will not open or close when I pushed the eject button, and the power will turn itself off automatically. How do I fix this? I have never had problems like this before with the DVD player. What can I do?

well there is a small hole on all cd/DVD drives. Place a pin or paper clip in the hole and it should allow you to open the drive. Check to make sure the DVD is in the right way and clean

My widespread DVD participant has been the main inexpensive ones i've got offered. The 30 greenback Cyber living house from maximum suitable purchase has been my absolute widespread. i offered it for college, thinking that if it have been dropped or ruined, it does no longer rely. this is lasted me previous college and this is nevertheless my widespread. i've got had a Phillips, a Toshiba, a Sony, an Apex (piece of crap), and a few others and that i do unlike a number of as much as my Cyberhome. you ought to use any audio device/subs with them. If the discs do no longer play with the single you have, you ought to use the audio device with yet another participant.

Is is an Onkyo or Denon player? If so, it is a manufacturer defect and needs to be fixed hopefully under warranty. If it is another manufacturer, then the DVD player will need to be repaired or replaced.
