I have the same problem at times. What I do is I just listen and then when I get to walk off I write in a journal about the problem and then I read over it and think about what I should do next.

You need some anger management class or you should read some tips...first , take a deep breath and focus on some good image in your mind ...some people wait and then speak but in my case leaving the room or the place does wonders. I change the place and leave and try to stay in nature (even a garden helps) by focusing on the beauty of nature . Thinking of the positive attributes of that person will lessen the anger and resentment. When you feel calmer, the thing to do is to find out why the words affect you so much...I am sure there is a general pattern here that triggers your anger...you need to know what it is that sparks the conflict....Good luck..it is a hard process but I am sure you will succeed if you try it.

Sllllooooowww down.....when someone does something you would usually get angry about, stop and think - is it that important. Will it matter next week, next year whatever. If it really does matter then sit down and reason out why. Sounds like you need to get a space that is all your own so that you can have time apart from your family.
Everytime your mum losses it - watch and think how silly she behaves, then just walk away.

most of the time anger is around due to unforgiveness and no respect
your right you cant do anything about you mom's anger problems
step 1 search your heart out and see where this root of bitterness started than forgive that person ie your mom. secondly purpose in your heart till that comes you will daily tell you mom that you love her every chance you get. hard but doable

prayer is the first thing to do, I'm almost in your shoes right now with my mom, and sometimes i try to avoid her because she can say some hurtful things, don't get me wrong you have to let them know how you feel rather they do something about it or not. keep your head up and be strong and ask god to help you deal with your mom and also in the same prayer ask god to help know how to approach you. may god bless you

my best friend has the same problem and it really affects the rest of her life...but all I can hope for her, and what people say to her is to give it time, once your not under her roof and everything, its alot easier for you to just to get along.
