First make sure the puppy is very warm (they can't control their body temp yet so they need to be kept a little warmer than we are). Second get honey and place a little on the puppy's tongue. This is to get it's blood sugar up so it can eat. Then you can try the supplement again. If you still can't get the formula down, you may want to try to squeeze the bottle a little to get some in but make sure you don't do this too quickly as they can breathe in the formula instead and cause even more problems. A couple of thoughts - is the mother pushing this puppy away or will she let him nurse? If she is and the puppy just won't nurse, you should check him to make sure he doesn't have cleft palate so he can't nurse. If you're not sure how, call your vet for their help - at this age you can't leave him for any length of time.

puppies usually miss the cuddles and the care of their mummy but u can take care by keeping him really warm with blankets and give him warm milk in baby feeding bottles. they think its their mummy feeding. and it will surely drink. as its new, it will take some time to adjust. just give him complete attention and love. if problem still exists, take him to a vet immediately, maybe he needs special attention. take care.

Yes keep him warm also put a windup clock in with him, it will sound like a heart beat to him. That is what I did with Justice. He is now 6 years old.

He might still be confused about where he is. Try to make him comfortable and make sure he's warm!
