If we all using faith rather than facts how do we know which one is true? Do we use facts or faith to work out which book to follow?
Cause if its faith then a Christain can never become a Muslim and a Muslim can never become a Christain and we all divided.

What makes you think they can't both be the word of God. We are all brothers and sisters and God is our Father. He has sent us His word through all his Holy Prophets.

For 14 centuries, since the advent of Islam there has been religious dispute and often open war between Islam and Christianity. Being a Christian means accepting Jesus as your savior, meaning that Mohammed has to be wrong. Being a Moslem means accepting Mohammed as the final prophet, which relegates Jesus to some kind of opening act. Some Christians read the Quran and become convinced that it is the revealed word of God. Others read it and see an insane pack of lies. Moslems generally do not convert out of Islam as that is a crime punishable by death in most Islamic societies. You are right that the belief is faith, but the decision that you are granted in a free society is based on more. You can exercise all the diligence that you want in learning about and adopting a faith, whether it's Christianity in any of its many forms, Islam, Judaism, Mormonism, Wicca. The point is you do get to choose where to put your faith.

A muslim can become a christian, or vice versa, but only if they abandon the tenets of their former faith.

Fact: Jesus Christ said 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me'.

This is either a true statement, a lie, or a delusion, but unfortunately there is no middle ground - it must be accepted or dismissed.

The point where facts and faith come together is what determines which book one will follow.

Bible and Quaran has too many holes in them, thats why followers of both claim it be Holy books. Did god write the part 2 of his word. may be he has already written the next part-3 also. lets search for that, whoz having it. becuse the latest version must be containing more palatable truth than the previous editions.
None of these books say how to be a better human being. all that they say is that god is this & that, he will do this if you do not obey him, he will send you to hell if you are bad and to heaven only those who joins his religion. Sheer stupidity.
Man created Religions, Religions created Gods. together men, religions & god divided man, his mind and this earth into many hostile groups & countries. Man is better off without religions and gods & Devils.

As a rule, regarding religion, people believe what they are taught to believe, what they are told to believe from childhood on. If Billy Graham had been born in India, he would have been a fiery preacher of Hinduism, or perhaps even the Dali Lama if he were born in Tibet. The same can be said of almost any Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Bhuddist, or Zoroastrianist.

Well, the fact that the Bible came first, from God, is proof that it's from him. He wouldn't turn around and then send "another" book to confuse us with. He isn't a God of confusion. Satan is though. So the Quran is the written word of Satan, not God. God would not confuse mankind like this. God would have obviously handed the Quran to Moses, not the Torah! If the Quran was God's word.

ok.... i had this same trouble growing up....i personally was raised by my buddhist aunt. however the rest of my family was christian. when i was about fifteen i was so confused i ended up doing A LOT of research on my own. i studied ALL religions for two years..... and i spoke with God how i knew how at the time.

now, my specific decision isnt important, but you should know when you come to God with an open heart he will never turn you away. do some research and speak with God however you know how. let him find where you belong.

peace

None of the religious books are true, people are just too gullible or the way they have been brought up to think there holy book is right and the others are not, when fact and evidence shows they are all wrong.

We follow whatever we believe to be true. There's no right and wrong about which religion to follow or which holy book to believe. The Hindus believe their scriptures are the word of God, too.

Muhammad married a 9 year old. He's a pedophile and all words that come from him are therefore FALSE. Also, the subjegation of women is obvious in the islamic world.

If I ever believe a faith, it won't be Islam. Islam gives power to brutal men and makes justification for Jihad that Torquemada would have envied.

If you dislike what I say, then come to my house and blow yourself up because I disagree with you. The world won't miss either of us in the long run.
