i was wondering if it is true that you can not get muscle where you were cut at. The doctors told me i could not but i met a friend and she done it but i have not talk her in a long time and i was wondering how hard is it to get the muscle back and what kind of excersises can i do if i can get the muscle back.

i had two so far one 4 years ago and the other a year ago. i am also 24 years old. so obvously i have a 4 year old and a 1 year old.

I've had two.. the cut turns into scare tissue.. you cant turn that into muscle.. you can work around it build up the muscles... cardio,crunches,,sit up's and Lot's of walking will do wonders good luck

The doctors actually cut the muscles in your lower abdomen, including all of its nerve endings. So what makes it so difficult after a c-section is that you can't even really feel there like you could before. Certainly you can exercise to tone and depending on your body type, you may very well be able to flatten down quite a bit, but it is pretty much impossible to get back to pre pregnancy size. So to answer your question- almost impossible! The best kind of exercises to get back to a decent shape would of course be abdomenal exercises like crunches and such... but don't set your expectations too high. Your doctors know what they're talking about!

you can because i have. i have a scar but a flat tummy. my son is 8 and it took me a long time before i got it the way i wanted it to look. They cut the muscle and tissue so you will have a little bit of flab not much though. you need to diet and do alot of cardio .
