It is pretty obvious that this administration doesn't give two hoots for the citizens of this country ... when you see the travesty of justice being metered out to the two border guards who did their duty protecting this country from drug smugglers you can't help but wondering if the rest of the border guards will be interested in doing their job properly for fear of imprisonment if they say boo to a criminal ... as for helping, or indeed protecting, the people in the border communities, maybe when Hell freezes over .... :(

Nope, i'm sick of seeing all the crap that happens. Look up the name Olga Franco Del Cid and you'll understand why I feel this way. I right now am all for shutting down the Mexican border. That will be more then we have done in the past 10 years to fix this illegal immigration problems. Our country is being Invaded by illegals. If we sent 10,000 people across the border to Mexico there would be a war.

It's not the popular thing to do.Those in power act like those in border towns are a bunch of racists that cant get along with others while the politicians sell us out.It will take gunfights in the streets before anything gets done and even when that happens I'm sure American citizens will get labeled as racist trouble makers for defending themselves

Citizens near the border should be provided with more protection by deployment of more Border Patrol Personnel to prevent incursions by illegals.

Answer: our leaders do not care about some rancher on the border. They want votes. They fear losing the votes of all those who think life in America is free for ANYONE who shuffles illegally accross our border.

Yes, this is sad but true & we should address this question to our elected officials. Be sure and find out where your candidates stand on the issue of border security before you cast your votes!!

In my opinion:

The government doesn't protect the boarder ranchers because they want the illegal aliens to cross the boarder.

The government knows that illegals cross our boarder, illegal aliens are coming in, Terrorists are coming in and Drugs are coming in. They know this, yet they don't stop it.

Because they want Cheap labor for big business, the terrorists give them the perfect excuse to strip RIGHTS from Americans, and the drugs create more jobs for lawyers, judges and jails and prisions.

Our President and government doesn't give a HOOT about the Quality of life for us or our standard of living for Our Children and Grand Children!

Or else they wouldn’t have sold us out for, Cheap Labor for Big Business!

The government is run by big business. Big Business makes sure the politicians get all the campaign contributions and perks they need and politicians make sure they vote in favor of big business every time!

Don’t forget many big businesses in the United States are owned by foreign countries. If the U.S. laws weren’t in place, Walmart would have it’s people working for free. They are big offenders of abusing workers rights and hiring illegal aliens.

Theory:

Big business is corrupting the politicians to the point that they are selling out America and the American way of life. They are bringing in cheap labor to exploit, at the taxpayers expense and getting richer from it!

Big Business is getting rid of the middle class so they can have cheap foreign labor and total control of The United States and total control of The United States resources.

Hezbollah, Cocaine, Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Terrorist Crossing our Boarder!

This is government site for a Summary for 2005:

HOMELAND SECURITY REPORT:
http://hsc.house.gov/PDFs/InvestigaionsSubcommitteereport.pdf

Federal Drug Seizures in 2005 on our Southern Boarder:

1,129,275 pounds of cocaine.
6,866,465 pounds of marijuana
16,790 pounds of methamphetamine.

In 2005 the government estimates the following crossed our Southern Boarder:

5.6 to 11.2 million pounds of cocaine.

34.3 to 68.6 million pound of marijuana.

In 2005 as many as 4 - 10- million illegal aliens crossed into the United States illegally.

During 2005, Boarder Patrol apprehended approximately 1.2 million illegal aliens; of those 165,00 were from Countries other than Mexico. Of the non-Mexican aliens, approximately 650 were from special interest countries. (Terrorist countries)

Special interest countries are those “designated by the intelligence community as countries that could export individuals that could bring harm to our country in the way of terrorism.

Members of Hezbollah, Al Qaeda and Hamas Terorist groups have already entered the United States across the Southwest Boarder.

Venezuela is emerging as a Potential hub of terrorism in the Western Hemisphere.

I personally would be very concerned living on the border with random people, mainly men, near my home. But what it all boils down to is cheap labor. No one wants to pay more for something than they have to. By not being more stringent on the borders we are remaining “friendly” with the people and country who do all the “dirty work” Americans chose not to.

This sounds a bit like city people who move to the country and then complain that there are cows next door.

The border has been there for a very long time, far longer than anyone who lives near it, and has always been as porous as it is now. A question you might ask instead is, "Why do Americans insist on living in a dangerous place, and then expect the "Government" to protect them from their own stupidity?"

Because the Democrats think that protecting the border would be racist.

Many Democrats, I should say. Not all.
