What were those dinners that somehow were automatically hot when you peeled back the cover? Are they still around?

I think they are long gone. Don't know the name. Too much like MREs from the military.

They do have some still around, They come with a little pouch of water in them that you pour on the foam plate inside and then close the box tightly, let it steam for about 15-20 mins. and pronto a hot meal. We used to sell these in the truck stop I worked for about 2 years ago and the truck drivers would take some and leave them in their trucks in case they were stranded somewhere, then they had a hot meal. I actually started them doing this. They now also have breakfasts in the boxes, eggs and bacon w. biscuits, etc.

I can't remember the brand, but Travel Centers of America sells them (that's a truck stop, in case you didn't know)
They have some that has an awesome flavor to them.
