Was involved with someone for 2 years. He broke it off and 3 months later started dating someone, just once a week, who likes lots of space in a relationship. He says he has to try to make it work. And he is ok with seeing her once a week. We were thinking of getting married. He cries when we talk about our relationship. He says he let me go b/c he couldn't give me what i needed in the long run but wanted to stay with me.

The base is wrong. All should be started after and with marraige. The person has enjoyed and now looking for a new car. You dont have any option/right and he is not legally bound to do. Think the future of such nations! Where are ethical conduct and codes? What is differnce between 'red areas' and 'dating and relationship culture'?
O mankind open you eyes!

Thats life it's tough sometime I'm going through the same thing with my ex. Almost 4 years together and after 3 months she has a new boyfriend. All I can tell you to do is go out with someone else. If you still love him tell how you feel what do you have to lose. At least you'll now how he feels about the situation
