You must keep in mind that when dealing with Christians, you are dealing with an ignorance that is deeper and truer....more unwavering and steadfast than any ignorance known to man.

I don't believe a thousand years from now is possible, Jesus or no Jesus. Look at the current population of today compared to 100 years ago - pffft - 50 years ago and do the math.
now x 100 = all half Chinese
100 + 900 = all out of resources

I hope not.
The promised one already returned. God sends his manifestations every ~1000 years (Abraham, Krishna, Zoroaster, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad were all divine Messengers; the Báb and Bahá'u'lláh are the most recent). And the last manifestation was a twin manifestation of the Bab and Baha'u'llah (19th century). If all of us would open their harts and investigate the truth we would not be in this confusion and would not take literally everything read in the Bible and other old wholly writings.

I think that Chrisitianity will change in major ways, with a "central church" or governing body holding less and less influence. Congregations will be fractured from each other and composed of like-minded people who share various beliefs about Christ with some churches believing in the supernatural and most others not.
In a 1000 years? I could foresee that some people would believe that a Christ will return to earth via human cloning.

Yes, in 1000 years the superstitious beliefs will hold little value to the majority of people but perhaps a select few cultist will remain and those people would probably be in psych wards.

It all depends on if Jesus has come back yet in 1000 years. Until He comes back, His church will be waiting for him; the few, the elect, the faithful.
Got Jesus?

Until He comes. Peter wrote of this very concern:
"First of all you must understand this: In the last days mockers will come and, following their own desires, will ridicule us by saying, "What happened to his promise to return? Ever since our ancestors died, everything continues as it did from the beginning of creation." But they deliberately ignore the fact that long ago the heavens existed and the earth was formed by God's word out of water and with water, by which the world at that time was deluged with water and destroyed." (II Peter 3:3-6)
