Is this an admision that God's word is within us, (and not outside of us - hence subject to the translational whims of anyone with a hidden position/agenda)?

Even if he had, there are two problems...1) He was Hebrew and therefore, you wouldn't be able to read it and 2) By now, some Englishman (probably Royalty masquerading as Religion) would have interpreted it to his own liking and force fed it to anyone who would listen.
If Jesus could read the Bible today, he would not even recognize his own words.

Why is there a supposition that he did not? Perhaps he did write (before the advent of the printing press). Writing surfaces were expensive, and people bleached and re-used writing manuscripts. The gospels were passed down orally and not written down for distribution until many decades after Jesus' death.

Read the Bible. Mainly the New Testament in KJV for your answer. What he said and taught is recorded there.
