People run around to do this and that and keep them selves busy for the "Lord" Is that what He wants from us?

No. Ephesians tells us "for it is by grace we are saved, through faith, not by works that any man should boast".

No, being a real decent person will not get me into heaven.

What God wants from each of us is similar in many ways and quite different in others. Note the differences in live paths among people of faith. Joan of Arc was much different from Francis of Assisi. What God wanted from both of them was submission to his will after they had accepted the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ--and yet God had much different jobs for them to perform on earth.

Salvation is common to all Christians who have accepted Christ. Vocation is a whole other matter.

No, all our works "are as filthy rags" only belief in Jesus Christ will get you into heaven, "no one can reach the Father except through the son"

I think he wants us to be happy, with ourselves especially. When you are comfortable with yourself, it reflects in your actions and manner, and you become a joy to be around. a happy person spreads light and joy to those they touch, and this is your gift to others. That is what god wants from you, to be YOU, and to spread your joy and light. You do that and you'll be ok my friend!
