IF you ask jesus to come in your life and you try your best i mean really try and you will be saved and just ask god everyday to keep you out of sin. If you ask God to come into your life you are with him you are his daughter or son. He will guid you and keep you safe and if you feel doubt TELL THE DEVIL TO LEAVE and call upon God to help you tell him to take the doubt away. He will always be there for you.

You are saved by grace not by works so nobody would boast. But accepting Jesus as your savior comes with the gift of the Holy Spirit that would help you in your responsibilities as a Christian, like prayer, Bible reading, submitting your will to God, producing fruit. Keep in mind that God knows your frame, and will help you grow in knowledge of Jesus.
The ultimate goal for any believer is to produce fruit, and be in fellowship with Jesus. All He requires is your faith, He will do the rest. Don't worry, just by the fact that you are asking this question is proof that His Spirit dwells in you. God Bless you! The minute you repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your savior, your name is written in the book of life.

If you ask God into your heart and ask for forgivness of your sins you have to have faith that you are saved also you need to live by His word and not be committing sins and things the Devil would temp you to do. If you live this way the best you can I believe that you will go to heaven.

You can't know with certainty in this life, i.e. you can't have scientific certainty about it. You have to believe it. Trust and Faith. It's hard, b/c we forget. The things is though, if we could be absolute certain, we would loose cite and forget our mission here and now on earth.... DOn't worry , if you are asking these questions that means you are near to Him.. I often experience the same wonder on how we can "know," but we can never know until we are there.. But ..ask God for greater faith and certainty....he will give it

To get an idea of what it is like to go to heaven talk to someone who has died and gone to heaven but was sent back because it "wasn't their time". Also reading the book 90 Minutes in Heaven will give you an idea. My best friend has died twice already and was on her way to heaven only to be brought back to life each time. She can't wait to go back to heaven and has specifically made me promise that if she dies in my presence that I WILL not do CPR on her or try to bring her back to life. She has told me some wonderful things about what it was like to be on her way to heaven and I will most certainly honor her wish of no CPR should something happen while I am with her.

If you study the bible, you come to know that you can trust it as the word of God. The word of God tells us that God is not man that He should lie. His word also says this: "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved". Do I know that I am saved or do I believe that I am saved? Semantics. As His word is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, I have assurance of salvation.

Beleive in Christ as God's son and do everything you would think that is right. Also be aware of your sins that you have commited and accept that you are a sinner.

You just have to have the faith. The faith, means faith in YOUR decision. Faith in anything else is unrealistic. Have faith in yourself, that you know what you're doing with your life. We've all got it in us, we just discover it at different points, and in different ways in our lives.

You know that you are saved once you have asked him into your heart and are willing to please him. There will be a warmer side to you and more caring. Also , you may feel more conscious of the decisions you make , and get a bad feeling when you know they are wrong. You will just feel him leading you.

If you base your thoughts and actions on your relationship with Jesus Christ, you can be sure that you know Him.
If your thoughts and actions are evidence of that relationship (to others), you can be sure He is living within you.
