Started chatting with a guy online. He says he definately wants to get to know me better but has not asked to meet up or exchange numbers. He hinted he would meet up with me if I asked to go for coffee. (but he didn't directly ask)... so I did. We exchanged numbers and would try and meet up soon. How long should I wait for a call to meet up????

Wait till he call you gurl ...
Then, if he does call, make sure you both talk on the phone more than once before deciding to go on a first date. You usually can tell whether the person is worth the first date effort, if y' know what I mean? Sometime what happens online ... doesn't predict how he'll behave on the phone. So make sure you talk to him first on the phone, see how you guys communicate ... it's ok to have pauses and feel weird at first. But, usually you can tell whether he's going to be a fun date or not ...
Give it a try, who knows?
Remember, always have first date in a public place!
Good luck

You should definitely not call him up again. Its now up to him to decide if he really wants to meet you. If he does not make a move, you can assume that he's not as serious as you are. Maybe he's married of engaged or something. In that case, don't waste more of your time or energy on him. Move on and try to find someone else.
