I decided to change the theme of my babies room to Hello Kitty. I was looking them up online and Hello kitty is pretty expensive. Anyone know of a website with good prices?

My daughter has tons of Hello Kitty, as do I, from he time we lived in Japan. The best place to look for inexspensive items is eBay. You will find all sorts of things...everything from fabric to toys to stickers you can use for all sorts of things.

My suggestion would be to decide if you want to use the Hello Kitty in pink or the one in red and then let that be the guide for the color scheme. Print out pics on your pc to frame as wall art. Use stickers to decorate plain wooden frames you paint yourself (you can find them for a few dollars at craft stores) and frame pictured of you and your baby with them. Look for fabric by the yard and sew (or ask a friend who knows how!) curtains, a cover for your old comforter and even recover crib bumpers if they are still there. Stay with solid colored sheets that go with the colors you choose...much cheaper than prints! Finally, find a few stuffed Kitties and sprinkle them around the room. Have fun with it...re-use and don't be afraid to get creative!!

id make a stencil out of plastic using an exacto and image i printed off the internet. it would be cheaper than wallpaper and it would make a great border around the top of the room along with white walls or another solid color. maybe buy a bed spread, but use regular sheets underneath, as long as the bed is made no one sees the sheets anyways. top off with curtains that match the bed spread (no need for hello kitty curtains), and bam, hello kitty room for the price of a bed spread.
i imagine the child has hello kitty toys or a stuff animal already

or i guess you could search the internet, but sheets, a clock, dolls, posters, and whatever else..estimated price: 1 billion dollars

There are thousands of Hello Kitty items on Ebay. Some of them come from overseas and are much less expensive than you can find them in stores here. (I'm a HUGE Hello Kitty fan myself!)

I don't think hello kitty is the right theme for you or your baby you need something a lot more fun and colorful. Something that has not only been in her generation but yours also. Your theme for your babies room should be CAREBEARS!

my girls have hello kitty theme in their room. i bought their bedsets at bed, bath, and beyond for about 60.00 each (it was a bed in a bag set). target also has hello kitty

i only did their bedsheets, lamp, and light switch in hello kitty. i bought purple and pink wooden butterflies that i found in the dollar section at target along with little purple and pink wooden flowers to decorate their walls. it saved me alot of money

check your local craft store or the dollar stores in your area for things that would match the hello kitty comforter (ex. if there are butterflies or flowers on the comforter-get flowers to hang on the wall).

Try overstock.com, they usually have good deals. You can also try going to yahoo.com and just searching for hello kitty decor.
