No, simply believing in Jesus will not save you.
James 2:19-20 "You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?"
This passage does not imply that one has to work for his salvation. Jesus already provided the means by dying on the cross. It just means that faith, without genuine repentance (turning away from sin and following God) is fake.
I never believed the "Once Saved Always Saved" belief. There are so many verses in the Bible (to raise what-if questions) that claim otherwise (for one there is Revelation 3:16). As Christians, we are called to endure till the end. Accepting Christ's offer of salvation is the first step to receiving it, but we have to run the Christian race till the end (follow Christ), unless we get disqualified.

There is a little more to it than that, but the short answer is Yes!
To be a true Christian, I'd say (of course, God might have a different interpretation) that you must:
Believe in God, and pray to him for forgiveness for your sins, and repent from the sinful nature and do what you think God would want you to do. He has a book you can study to find what exactly that is. And the wonderful thing is, that if you fail, you get credit for the effort! Since God can see into your heart, he can determine if you are truly turning away from sin, or if you know you are going to continue in sin. All you have to do when you sin is to pray for forgiveness, and honestly repent for your sin. Love God, love others, and love yourself--there isn't too much more to it.
This is made possible by Christ's dying for our sins despite having none of his own. Just as Adam could make us all sinners, Christ can make us all holy again. It is through Jesus' sacrifice that the separation between God and man was removed.

The blood of Jesus Christ covers any sin. However, it is very possible to sin again once you have accepted Christ. We still have a free-will even after coming into the realization of mercy, grace and the truth. God does not allow sin into heaven. Therefore, anyone who sins and does not ask repentance of that sin regardless of when it was committed - before or after acceptance of Jesus as Savior - will not go to heaven. It's just that simple.

Who really knows that it is true. I had a discussion with a "better than me" (my description) Christian a week ago, as my husband is extremely ill and has limited time with us, regarding something similar to this. He commented to me that most people need to believe in something. For him, his belief that there is a wonderful place to go is what keeps him going. He said that there is no absolute concrete proof that it exists, but believing it is so and wanting to have the opportunity to be there, helps him follow his Christian path through this life. With this belief, he is able to ask for forgiveness for the sins he does do, receive peace and make his life better for him and others just by his attitude and his belief. If it were to turn out, after his death, that there was not heaven for him down the road, his time here on earth will have been much better keeping the belief alive than giving up on it and adding more sins to his journey.

No. Even according to the bible that is not true. You have be saved by Jesus. Being saved does not mean you can sin and still go to heaven.

God, not man, judges. This biblical principle tell us not assume anything about anybody.
Having said that, the only Christian restriction is found in 1 Cor 10:23-24.
You may have people make all sort of claims, but God is the judge.

God knows our hearts. There is a difference between a person who truly loves God, and yet sins...but repents of that sin, and a person who has just given lip service to God, goes out and sins and doesn't care. I cannot judge the heart of another, only God can.
But to answer your question, sin does not keep anyone out of heaven; unrepentance and disbelief in the son of God does.

It says that accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior and believing that He died for our sins is redemption, however it also says that after you accept Him and repent of your wicked ways you are supposed to discontinue those ways and walk in His light. It's not drive-thru salvation.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We don't get to heaven based on the number of sins, we get in by accepting His sacrifice as the perfect substitute for us and believing in Him.
