Try calcium-magnesium-zinc tablets 3 times daily with meals. Also eat more fruits and vegetables for potassium.
Good luck.

Try the 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. That may cure any leg cramps at night.

I am neither a nutritionist or a doctor, but sometimes a lack of potassium can lead to leg cramps.
Foods like bananas are high in potassium. About a banana a week is enough to reduce cramps in most people.

could very well be you're lacking in calcium and/or potassium try eating a banana at least once a week as it is very high in potassium and increase your dairy intake see if that helps after a couple of weeks if not go to the dr. and find out why the cramps are so bad.Good Luck

If you don't get enough potassium you can get them, but more serious conditions can also cause them. If you're not getting enough potassium and you begin making sure you do get enough the cramps will go. Another problem could be not enough calcium. I've found that when I start to get charlie-horses easily if I have milk they stop. Otherwise, see a doctor.

I think leg cramps may be caused by poor circulations, as well as lack of some essential vitamin or mineral, however i am not a doctor.

Simply because of stress.. To much stress causes you to use up ATP(adenosine triphosphate) and alot of circular energy transfers will occur in your body and when it reaches the distribution of lactic acid, the lactic acid might build up and causing cramps... You probably walk alot because it's on your legs, the most vulnerable part for stress.

Dehydration and low potasium are the two things I find are usually my cause. Try eating a banana or two and see if that helps. Don't go overboard with potasium though, its a dangerous essential element at high doses.
