It is like a two edged knife. It can help as well as harm you depending on what type of surface you walk for how long. Walking on soft grass mostly helps in early mornings. On teh other hand, on hard rocky surfaces or in extremely hot surfaces, you may land into troubles.

yes. benefits of acupressure is scientifically (in Chinese/Japanese) proved. It helps in streamlining the blood circulation. But bare foot walking should be done only on natural surface not on concrete or any other artificial surfaces.
In ancient India sages(rishis) used to predict the date of rainfall or any other natural happenings through their barefoot walking.
So, walk barefoot with proper precautions.

depends on the surface if its sand or something really soft then yea being barefoot is great for spine and joint alignment. but if it's a hard surface like concrete and your on it for an extended period of time then it can through leg joints and possibly your back out of alignment! and yes its scientifically proven though i don't have the proof you require.
