Is the thousand dollars going to make him a legal immigrant?
Is he going to pay you back for your investment?
If not, I would say definitely no. I knew a lady a few years back who was married to an illegal immigrant. They had 5 children together. But the immigration people finally caught up with him and now he can't come back to our country. But of course he did! Several times and each time they caught him and sent him back. Do you really want to live that way. This poor woman is now raising 5 children by herself. No child support, no help. Just lots of very empty promises. If they can't come legally. Then they need to stay where they are! Other wise they are making you an accomplice to breaking the law!

Absolutely not, if it is to help him come here illegally. If the money is towards filing the paperwork to help him get a visa and come here legally, sure, if you love him enough and you are sure he is not just using you so that you end up having to support him and any kids you may have with him. I'd think real hard about this, if I was you!

If legally, yes. But why can't he finance his own visa expenses? You should ask him to pay his own way if he values the relationship. Of course you may assist him with any paperwork which may be required at your end excluding ATM services.

no. don't do things illegally; you'll just be heading for trouble down the road; it will make things worse later; if you miss him, visit each other; get him to come over as a tourist. one day, maybe get married. i know folks who have got together over here illegally and then one of them has been shipped back after sometimes several years---think how much THAT would suck.
