18st was the biggest gang in the country. More homicides and members than the crips, bloods, latin kings, nazi lowriders, etc. Mainly Mexican.
MS-13 is all salvadorian. They are the most violent gang NOW. They are no stranger to decapitating victims. Founded by ex guerillas.

I support undocumented workers who really want to come and better themselves and their families....Not criminal gang members....BTW, what did we do with all the Irish, Jewish and Italian gangs who first migrated to this country?

You must be more specific as to immigrant. You are asking what do "pro illegal immigrant" types...... No one is against legal immigration because we all are here because our ancestors immigrated from another country. As for MS-13 they have spread across the country from El Salvador. The gang, believed to be the most ruthless of them all, arrived her all illegals. That may be the case still as I cannot imagine a citizen joining such a gang or them taking them in. Back home they are known for cutting off heads and hands of their enemies. Thanks to a porous border, they are here along with Middle Eastern terrorists. Blame this on both parties because it has been happening for at least 20 years. The American public does not want any more bad news and so they turn their eyes and ears away from this and that is why America is in such rapid decline. Blame the citizens who did not start speaking up at least two years ago. That is the only argument needed for securing the border. Anyone out there disagree? Of course not, unless they are criminals here robbing us blind. 18th St. originated in East Los Angeles/Downtown L.A. and continues on. What can you say? They are gangs; illegal entities that law enforcement failed to wipe out when they had the chance. I repeat, the citizens did not want to hear the bad news and now it is destroying us.
Legal immigration and border securing via fence, etc. are two different matters and they do not intersect. As for illegal immigration, it is not the people who are working and are decent, wonderful people that are the subject of the rancor about the border being open. It is the killers - thousand upon thousands of them that demand we secure the border - Southern first - and keep it secure. So you see, there really is not disagreement on the subject. What you are hearing from others are the activists or their puppets believing that Americans have it in for the good people of Mexico who do contribute a great deal. Not so. We have it in for killers, rapists, burglars, car thieves, identity thieves, manufacturers of fake drugs given to patients, theft of citizens' property, drug running, sales and destruction of thousands of young American lives because children are so trusting and they want to fit in.

I am an Irish immigrant but I've never heard of this 18 or 13, so, can't say as I really feel anything about them.
However, all these American school kids shooting up schools, now that is sick !

I saw a documentary about MS 13 and since they keep getting deported, all they do is recruit more members, get stronger and come back.
