Spend as much time with her, as you can, float over general saying to her, "I feel really comfortable around you", "I really like the time we spend together" , " you know you understand me better than any girl" every one of those statements can be taken 2 ways, see how she reacts to them, if it's positive, then go for broke, tell her, you want to try being more than friends, and your willing to risk your friendship, if it takes getting to know each over better, see it how it works.

God Bless

When girls say "just friends," they especially mean that they are not interested in you in a romantic way. She was interested in you, but then you put yourself in the friend zone. Probably, it's because you haven't been communicating with her in an interesting way -- trying to impress her, telling her what she wants to hear, trying to hard, or talking to her about "friends" things and not talking to her in an attractive, interesting way.

If you are interested in her, the only way to get her in the long run is to let her go for now. She's expecting you to chase her somewhat. Don't. Let her go. Girls don't want what they can easily have, and you've presented yourself as something she can easily have. Forget it for now, act indifferently, move on with another girl. A year from now, maybe things will change.

well the fact that u've admit that u've screwed up is a good thing, but i think you should let her know that you feel bad about what u've done. the reason she acted this way is maybe cos she really liked u and she was hurt by what you've done, and she's afraid of getting hurt again. try to show her that ur serious this time, and im sure if she's still interested she won't hesitate, good luck!!!

Did you apologize or explain why you screwed up big time at homecoming? Girls dont forgive and forget that easily.

You have nothing to lose by asking, and if you throw a sincere apology in the mix you will be doing something a relationship does not survive without.

You might just have to bow out and be a friend. Because that sounds like she just dropped you into the friendship zone.

Forget about her as hard as that may be, if you keep trying youll look desperate she wont like it. Keep your head up and dont walk around miserable theres plenty of girls out there not just at school.

If you screwed up big time, you are lucky she is even talking to you. Just take it slow, be friends, and just maybe she will forgive you and give your another chance. But it is highly unlikely.

Don't give up, but definetely continue the friendship, and maybe in the future things will change and you will be more than friends.
