what is the difference between a suit and a tuxedo?

a tuxedo is way more dressy than a suit. It is for weddings and other ocassions like that.
There is usually expensive silk like labels and sometime cumberbuns. Vey fancy. It would never be worn where as suit would be worn. It would be way too dressy.

The style and cut of a suit (daily usage) changes within a short period of time - annually and a suit comes in different colors.
Where as a tuxedo (formal usage) changes over a longer time period such as every 10 years and perhaps longer , and 9 out of 10 times is black.

A suit is something you could wear to the office, in a business setting. A Coat, tie, shirt and trousers.
A tuxedo is a formal attire. It has a tailored cut and finish, usually consisting of a Coat with tails, Bow tie, Shirt with cufflinks, Dress trousers, waist coast, cummerbun and a tophat.

a suit is made of dressy pants and a jacket, while a tuxedo is a more formal and specific type of suit that u wear for special occasions such as weddings or proms

u can wear suit go any where any time u want and wearing tuxedo needed special ocations
