between the revolution and the alamo ,between the alamo and the civil war ,between the civil war and the spanish american war ,the next war was ww1 then ww2 then only as un troops in Korea ,then they took over from the french in vietnam .After that it was Grenada then iraq 1 then iraq 2 and afghanistan.not a lot compared to us brits.

there was that one day back some time ago. It was after that war but before the Police Action... Or maybe it was the other way around. But yeah there was a day or two.

my freind dingdong got it wrong america spend more money than the next 12 countries combined together notthe whole world cause america aint that big and yes america has had pecae since its \independence

Even during those times when they were not actually at war,they were arming & training Right-wing death squads in Central &South America,& propping up Fascist dictatorships in South America.Way back,they even fought a war over bananas.One of the S.American countries nationalised the banana industry,there-by taking control from a big American company ,(Fyffes,i think),and America went to war over it.

Since the end of WW2 America has been involved in 200 conflicts. The US spends $25 000 per SECOND on the military, 43% of your tax dollars, this is more than all the other countries on earth combined. Absolute madness.
