Nah mate. Most abortions are performed to stop children being raised in a hostile enviroment. Clinical operators understand that the "potential for life" that is a feotus is not actually alive in early pregnancy. It is better for the family if there is not a baby around to consume money and take attention needed elswhere. It is also better for a baby not to be brought into a family with a young mother (teen), drug exposed household, or very poor family.
However after a certain growth stage I would not be able to terminate a pregnancy. This is usually backed by law. Except in countries like mexico, hence the large teen crossover from U.S to get illegial operations, it is the most common illeigal operation performed.
Fact: In some countries the RU-486 tablet (instant abortion) is still available and makes abortions a lot less expensive and painful. But i think it makes it too easy for babys at later stages to be terminated.
