I have scoliosis and I am 15 and my curve is severe. I am having surgery next year, is there anyone that went through the same thing please talk to me I m scared!!

I was diagnosed with a severe "s" curve when i was 15. I had to wear a brace for six months. I never had the surgery.....Now im 20 and I just had a baby girl who I cant even pick up because my back is so bad off. I wish I would have gotten the surgery when I lived with my parents and they could pay for it. I cant afford it now and I live in alot of pain every day. I hope your surgery goes well! congratualtions!

you said the curve of your scoliosis is severe...as early as now that should be corrected..dont worry about it...with proper management for your scoliosis you will be fine soon.. youre still young and scoliosis has good prognosis...so just follow the doctor's advice and be cooperate with them

a friend of mines daughter went through it.. she is fine... just had a baby, her and baby are fine... had surgery about your age, and had to again around age 21... I wish you the best... you will be fine...
