Are you being serious??? You should NEVER mix alcohol with any type or drugs, over-the-counter or not,. You used the word "apparently" in your question which leads me to believe that you have just heard of this stuff from your friends and havent actually tried it yet. And the way that all of this is going to affect you could be drastically different from the way it affects your friends. This dangerous combination could end up being fatal. So please, for your safety, do not take medicine or any type of drugs and mix it with alcohol.

It used to be 40% making it 80 proof. However, I just checked a bottle in my medicine cabinet and it's now 10% making it 20 proof.

10%, I believe. That would make it about 20 proof. Not too strong, but it will help you sleep if you're really sick.
